Rabbit-jumping has become a popular activity for pet owners in Central Europe. And this past weekend in Rommerz, Germany, near the Fulda River, nearly 80 fluffy furballs competed at the 5th Open Rabbit Sport Tournament. The bunnies were grouped into weight classes and leaped over hurdles for a variety of titles. And this year, the sport will see its first European Championship in Switzerland.

Meet little Ciuchcia, a 4-month-old orphaned German shepherd, who shows resilience to an early life of abuse as he chases a kitten with the help of a specially made wheelchair at a shelter for homeless animals in Poland. Ciuchcia (Polish for train engine was paralyzed when he was run over by trains after being abandoned on tracks. What a testament to this courageous canine will to survive.

Where Samuel L. Jackson when you need him? A Tennessee couple could have really used the help of FBI agent Neville Flynn Samuel L. Jackson character in the 2006 action thriller on a Plane to rid their vehicle of a stowaway snake that slithered across their windshield as they were driving down the road. Rachel and Tony Fisher, who recorded the reptile high-speed ride, believe the snake curled up in the car overnight after spending a weekend at a relative home in a wooded area. In on a Plane, Neville Flynn tells the panicked passengers: have to put a barrier between us and the snakes! Good thing the Fishers already had one: their windshield. Watch the incredible video.
